Based on form in the current tournament alone, these two European football teams already look pretty evenly matched, and their performance back during the qualifiers schedule pretty much just reinforces that evaluation. Their qualifying match results were only good enough for second in their respective UEFA groups, meaning both had to go the playoffs route to get to the main stage. Neither side is a stranger to final tournament matches, though Sweden’s results fell short of qualifying them for the previous two FIFA World Cups, while Switzerland are in the knockouts for the third time in four campaigns. As such, predictions for the fixture don’t strongly favor either side, and the results look like they’re pretty much up in the air, at this point.
